A key software program used in this division is Airsoft. This allows us to track the history of any component from the time it is ordered from a vendor, to installation, to the time it is removed and sent back to the vendor for overhaul.
The Airsoft system also allows us to track all maintenance inspections on an aircraft and helps forecast upcoming maintenance, as well as manufacturer's bulletins and government directives compliance.
In 2008, we reorganized our stores and technical records departments to give us more control over our aircraft records and to move our inventory more efficiently. To help our maintenance personnel operate more efficiently, we also added new tools, workbenches, computers and storage bins accessible at the aircraft.
