Quality Assurance
The responsibility of the quality assurance division is to ensure that the quality of the maintenance done on the aircraft is in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals and bulletins and company policies and procedures. Quality Assurance also includes the management of the technical records system and training for all maintenance personnel.
As of January, 2008 we changed our quality assurance program to include a new safety management system (SMS). VIH Cougar Helicopters has operated using a form of SMS since its inception; however, this new system will enhance in our safety record and assure FAA compliance in the future.
